THE FUN CONTINUES
Second trailer coming in 30 minutes, all pumped up with a cup of Joe, 400 milligrams of ibuprofen and I’m ready to go! Bring it on!
Another valiant effort by Tom the Truck driver today, because he got up the hill without a trailer this time, which can be equally difficult, because you’ve got nothing to hold down the 4 wheels spinning in the back, whereas the two in front have the engine.
Nonetheless and allthemore, he tried and he tried till he did it! There, he picked up the empty trailer, but had to leave our second half-empty one at the bottom of the hill because it was too risky. He or another assigned driver would have to make it up a second time after we emptied it.
Hence, we had to hustle today nonstop from 3:30 - 9:00, when Sidney had to leave for the airport.
We miraculously got it done an hour after sun down. Now, the fun continues, as we assemble beds and unpack.
One of the other highlights of the day was that we received a gift from a neighbor- a fixer upper chicken coop! Our hens are going to love it!
